Grupo Niche Rosemont Concert reviews
Soccer games were awesome, seating not so much
Ford Field was a great venue for the event and made the game that much better. The soccer games were a lot of fun to watch. They even managed to bring in natural grass turf for the event. I'd go see professional football (soccer) again in a heartbeat. I was quite happy to see someone bring top-tier professional football to Detroit. Aside from the seats, the air conditioned Ford Field was certainly an improvement in conditions. 95* temps and high humidity would have made it rough for both players and fans in an outdoor venue. I'm sure we have Michigan State University to thank for that, much like the turf in the Silverdome for the '94 World Cup.
The announcers needed a bit of work though. Work that out next time guys. Calling out the "starting lineup" they simply rattled off EVERY player on the team. They ran out of time to announce the 22 starters because they were busy rattling off 23 names from each team.
Overall, very impressive and a wonderful experience.
